We had our old deck removed and a new one installed, while maintaining the original roof above the deck. All work was done in a very detailed and professional manner. Nick and his team worked tirelessly throughout the entire project, maintained a clean and safe work environment, and always started the day on time. Communications were excellent from the time the estimate was submitted through the completion of the project. We had an excellent experience with Nick and his team! Nick is responsive, communicative and friendly, and he and his team were punctual, hard-working, and thorough. They showed up on time or early every day, worked through the day, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Nick kept us updated on the project throughout the process. We hired Booher Construction to tear down an original construction deck and build our new one from the ground up, with a permanent roof. The first thing to stand out to us long before construction began was the high level of communication and professionalism from Nick. Everything was laid out for us well in advance and all questions/concerns were answered in a timely manner. He was willing to meet with us a few times as we decided on deck materials and color schemes. During the construction process, Nick kept us up to speed on all goings on. They operated as close to the projected timeline as Pittsburgh spring weather allows. His team kept the worksite clean and left virtually no footprint once completed. We could not be happier with the finished product and highly recommend Booher Construction!

Booher Custom Decks just completed our 3 deck project and if I could sum it up in a word it would be EXCELLENCE! Our main deck was redone with new pvc decking, steps, new railing ,and wrapped support posts....our pool deck was completely rebuilt from scratch with matching pvc decking and railing... our front porch was redone with new composite decking, new steps, new railing and wrapped posts....and we are more than pleased with all of it! It's beautiful! Nick and his team were a pleasure to deal with, showed up exactly when expected, cleaned up after every day's work and their craftmanship and attention to detail are unmatched. Also, Nick was very easy to communicate with and helped in the planning stages, too. As a side note specific to our needs, we have a dog that does not do well with strangers and Nick and his team were very accommodating when I needed to take the dog out and we greatly appreciated that. We HIGHLY recommend Booher Construction for your deck project!!!

Booher Construction just finished a project at my house! With the amount of rain we’ve had this summer, I cannot believe they were able to start on time! They worked so efficiently and left my yard clean each day! I have kids and dogs and I was worried there would be scraps or messes to deal with and that wasn’t the case EVER. Cleanest contractors I’ve ever dealt with and kindest! Nick and his guys were so nice and respectful. The work was done quickly, they showed up exactly when they said they would each day. Nick gave me daily updates. His prices were more than fair- especially for the quality we received. I am so happy with everything!

We had a new deck made by Booger construction. I'm not joking when I say that I think the deck is better constructed than our house! The deck that we wanted was not just a basic deck, we had a ramp built and the dimensions were different than usual but everything was perfect. They completed the job quickly and were very friendly.

We decided to go with Booher Construction because of Nick’s straight-to-business approach, the reasonable quote, and the many positive reviews they received in a Facebook group my spouse belongs to. My old deck was falling apart and needed to be replaced. Of the four contractors I contacted, Nick was the only one who didn’t try to oversell me. He showed up when he said he would, listened to what I needed, asked some questions, took some measurements, and got back to me with the best quote. We were completely satisfied with the deck replacement. Booher Construction had great communication, trading emails with me to let me know what was going on so there were no doubts about what was happening. Nick and his crew worked around the weather, started the job early every day, and even worked through a weekend to get the job done. They were quiet (as quiet as one can be while demolishing a deck and building a new one) and cleaned up after themselves each day. I also appreciate that they took care of the permits. Booher Construction exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them. They will be my first call if I need more work done.

Booher Construction did a fantastic job on our deck. They replaced all of the boards on the deck and railing on our existing structure. It’s a brand new deck! They were great to work with, did everything as promised. Highly recommend.

We picked Booher Construction based solely on a friend’s recommendation. What a great recommendation that turned out to be!!! Nick is amazing…his skills, his work ethic, his punctuality for arrival and deadline, he was neat, he hauled everything away, and he kept tabs on the materials if any were missing or needed replaced. And he’s just so nice! The end result was quality work and a beautiful deck that’s clearly going to stand the test of time! PS even the township inspector said she never has to worry about Booker’s work. It’s always done right!

Nick and his team did a great job on our deck. They demo'd a 30 year old wooden deck and installed a deck with TREX decking. He was recommended by a neighbor and we are very glad we used them. They obviously knew what they were doing, worked hard, and finished in a timely manner despite some weather delays. We got 4 bids, and Booher was somewhere in the middle. The whole experience was good and I felt like we were treated fairly and got our money's worth. Highly recommended.
